SAS Additional Costs: Optimizing Profit Calculations

Additional Costs for Fulfilment Process

Within Settings/Additional Costs are options for adding additional costs, in your fulfilment process, which SAS can then included in calculations:
  1. Prep fee: any fee from an FBA perspective for preparation costs, e.g.: a prep centre, or contract labour who pack your boxes
  2. Misc. Fee: any additional amount you want factored in
  3. Misc. Fee (%): percentage of the cost price which you would like factored in as a fee
  4. Inbound shipping: your designated FBA inbound shipping rate - to calculate, take the cost of your shipment to Amazon and divide it by the weight of the product to get your per lb/kg price; we include it in our calculations per product but bear in mind that this fee is charged monthly by Amazon which will show as a lump fee in your monthly invoice
  5. Inbound Placement (.com only) The FBA inbound placement service, fees are estimated accordingly Inbound Placement Fee for the US market
  6. Peak storage fees: Amazon charge a peak storage fee for the period October 1st to December 31st. Setting this option will use the peak fees in the calculation
  7. CEP storage: The Central European Programme (CEP) lets you use Amazon's fulfilment centres in Poland and the Czech Republic for inventory that would otherwise be stored in Germany, which can result in lower fulfilment fees.
