SAS Additional Costs: Optimizing Profit Calculations

Additional Costs for Fulfilment Process

You can enter the following fees into your calculations which can all be found in the Settings section of SAS here.

Additional Costs

  • Prep Fee: The per-item cost for using a prep center for your FBA shipments.

  • Miscellaneous Fee: Any other per-item costs you need to include.

  • Miscellaneous Fee (%): A per-item cost, calculated as a percentage of the product's cost.



Amazon-Specific Fees
  • Inbound FBA Shipping: The amount which you pay to ship your product into Amazon - see more details here.

  • Inbound Placement Fees: Fees charged by Amazon for splitting and distributing your inventory across their fulfilment centres.

  • Peak Storage Fees: The higher monthly storage fees that apply to FBA inventory during the peak holiday season (October to December).

  • CEP Storage: A program for sellers in the German marketplace that allows you to store inventory in Amazon's fulfilment centres in Poland and the Czech Republic to potentially lower fulfilment costs.

  • European Fulfilment: If you sell cross-border in Europe, this is where you can select the scheme you use when selecting the destination marketplace in the European Marketplaces panel. More details can be found here.
