Introducing the Scan Analysis List (SAL): Faster Scanning, Zero Interruptions
Speed Mode now features the Scan Analysis List (SAL), allowing you to rapidly scan and build a list of product barcodes for later analysis.
Why Use SAL?
How It Works (S-A-L)
The Speed Mode screen now features three core components:
[S] Scanner: Your high-speed camera interface for instant barcode capture.
[A] Analysis View: Where your scans live. New items appear in bold; previously scanned items automatically update with your latest timestamp.
[L] List View: Your organised history of everything captured during
In the middle Analysis view, clicking on a barcode will automatically show the product preview in the List view - for the scan to appear in your history, you'll need to click the SAS Analysis button to view the full product analysis
How does SAL work without internet connection?
If SAS is not open when you lose an internet connection, SAS cannot open and SAL will therefore not work. However, if SAS is open and you then lose connection, you can continue scanning in-store. Note in the third screenshot how the barcode from the failed scan is saved, despite the analysis failing.
This is the power of SAL - when you have an internet connection again, you can return to this list and carry on with your product analysis.
Starting a Fresh Analysis
If you want to remove historic scans, you can delete entries in the Analysis or List view by clicking the bin icon for individual products, or click Delete All for a clean slate.
