How to Remove a Device

When you remove a device, a seat becomes available on your account once the removal is confirmed.    Click Confirm on the confirmation dialog that appears. The device status will now show as Pending Removal.

  1. Initiate Removal in SAS: Go to Account icon > Devices, locate the device you want to remove, and click Remove.
  2. Confirm Action: Click Confirm on the confirmation dialog that appears. The device status will now show as Pending Removal.

  3. Verify via Email: Check the inbox of the primary email address associated with your SAS subscription for a message from noreply@mailer.selleramp.com.
  4. Complete Deactivation: Click the verification link in the email to finalize the removal. Once verified, the slot is freed up and the device will no longer appear in SAS.
Security Note: If you did not request a device removal, do not click the confirmation link. You can cancel the deactivation directly in your email or account settings.

Device Limits & Upgrading Seats

Your SAS subscription includes a set number of device slots (e.g., maximum 5 devices).

  • Re-using Slots: If you reach your limit and remove a device, that freed-up slot can immediately be used to register a new device.

  • Exceeding Limits: If all slots are full and you attempt to connect a 6th device, you must remove an existing device first or upgrade your subscription.

How to Get More Device Seats

  • Upgrade to "Going Pro": Upgrade your plan directly in the Account section or via the prompt inside the Devices tab.

  • Purchase Seat Add-ons: If you wish to purchase more add-ons, you will need to upgrade to the Going Pro plan. If you are on the Getting Serious plan and already have add-ons applied, you can continue to use the current installs.
